FG and CNB in upper clash

FireGamers and CNB-Gaming will be facing off in the upper-bracket final, as both teams won their semi-finals.

In the most predictable match of the two semi-finals, FireGamers did not win quite as comfortable as many thought. FireGamers won 12-3 as CT, but GoldenGlory found decent CT play to cope with the Terrorists' attacks, which only lasted for some rounds, as FireGamers found their way to pick up four rounds to win 16-12.

In the other semi-final, Made in Brazil took on CNB-Gaming, featuring several ex-mibr members. Made in Brazil started on the CT side, which secured them a 11-4 lead at half-time. Second half saw mibr quickly getting a hold of three rounds, but CNB figured out the defense to stop it. CNB did in fact not let Made in Brazil take any more rounds, until the very last round of the ordinary playing time, where CNB failed to defend the upper bombsite, which led to overtime.

Starting as Terrorists in the overtime, CNB got a hold of two rounds, while Made in Brazil only managed one round as CT. CNB picked up the first round, now playing CT, and Made in Brazil did not manage to stop CNB in the following round, resulting in a 19-16 win for CNB.

CNB will take on FireGamers in the next match, a match which will be played at 20:30CET. Both GoldenGlory and Made in Brazil have dropped to the lower-bracket, where they will now try to make their way through to the Consolidation Final, playing sDm and semXorah respectively.
